Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney is from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father named Romulus Linney was a renowned writer. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. Later she completed a M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City. The actress began performing on Broadway, earning accolades for her roles, including Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
