Berenice Lim Marlohe was born in France. Her most popular role is as the anti-heroine Bond Girl Severine, in Skyfall. Berenice is a French-Chinese and Cambodian born from Paris France, May 19th 1979. Her dad is Chinese, and her mother French. Her family is a family of middle class that has both Chinese and Cambodian origins. Her mother is a former teacher and her father is medical doctor. As a child in Paris she was enthralled with the arts and spent the majority of her time playing the piano as well as creating pictures. She was influenced by painting and music and art, two of her most cherished interests. Jack Waltzer ran a Jack Waltzer workshop. Following a session with the legendary Jack Waltzer, she was enthusiastic about acting. In the wake of this discovery, she completed her ten years of studies at the eminent Paris Conservatory. After graduating from college she was immediately auditioning to play film roles. In 2007, her first role was The Discordance.
